Apple Begins Hiring for First Swedish Retail Store

Please Apple, please open a store in Denmark (Copenhagen). Did I remember to say please?

Word, brother.. If Sweden is getting one we should get one also.. I had enough of crappy experience with Humac.. A grand store next to Tivoli would be a killer

Hamngatan 15, Stockholm, quite a nice old building.
Right next to Audi Forum, an Audi showroom.

If Apple is hiring I presume it's because they are arranging the details of the rental agreement or even purchase... who knows.
Gallerian mall seems a very good option too (at least for a store in a mall)

Finally Apple see that there is a demand for retail stores in Scandinavia. Lets hope they move on further into Norway (and Denmark).

According to latest news reports, its claimed to be Hamngatan 15 in Stockholm.
Its quite a departure from other European city stores in terms of location.

To be honest, its close to a popular area ... but not in an area considered popular due the correlation of stores (or lack of) directly next to it.

I took a photo of it today, and saw the location is being renovated with a large pile of marble flooring inside, standing ready to be installed.

I am glad Apple hopes to open a store, but if it really is Hamngatan 15 .... it really begs the question, what they hell was apple Sweden thinking? In the past the location has been a bank and other very dull establishments. Had Apple had its head screwed on, they would have chosen a location more central to shopping habits. (Closer to Gallerian) Even the old empty OnOff store on Sveavagen would have been a better location.

Free food and drink in Apple stores= double in sales. There would be some sort of aromatic bacon and popcorn treat and a pitcher of margaritas for those who buy something. Served up by attractive geniuses at the genius bar.
