Other than wattage, what do you know about its true comparability? I have a ton of Anker stuff but I've certainly had a lot of it fail on me outside of the warranty.

I don't. But I also don't know how consistent Mophie's quality is, either. Personally haven't had any issue with Anker products, but they generally seem pretty well-regarded?

Anyway, fair point. What I'd be more interested in is if (when) Apple itself starts making GaN chargers.
 
I might try these out, I just got an anker nano II and stopped working correctly after a couple of months.
 
In my experience, Apple chargers last for many years, way longer than 3rd party AND have the all-important integrated global plug options. All these Mophie / Anker etc need clumsy adapters when travelling, Apple you just swap the head.

I've owned a few Mophie products and they were certainly of a better fit and finish than an Anker. Apple's got a couple GaN chargers but not for phones yet.
