I like refurbished products, they typically go through a more rigorous QA testing. Plus Apple Care, makes it worth it to me. But I also prefer to have the newest phone out the gate, so I never get refurbished phones.

Same. I've been known to pick up a refurb iPad here or there (great pricing & protection for kids and/or parents that may not need the latest/greatest). But I'm on iUP so my phones are latest/greatest. lol

On that refurb page,  continue to taunt fans of the Vader Edition (aka 'Jet Black') iPhone.
?
Noticed that too and love it!

Apple really botched on the iphone 12 by lowering the battery capacity.
iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max - high battery capacity
iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max - low battery capacity due to 5G connectivity
iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max - high battery capacity even with 5G connectivity

iPhone 6 Plus - high battery capacity
iPhone 6s Plus - low battery capacity due to 3D Touch
iPhone 7 Plus - high battery capacity even with 3D Touch
iPhone 8 Plus - low battery capacity due to glass back and wireless charging

Not cheap enough, but Apple knows what it’s doing here. If it cost $600, might as well spend the extra 400 to buy the 13.

Same here. Apple is one of the few brands that I trust purchasing refurbished products from so long as the purchase is made directly from apple.com. I've owned so many Apple Refurbs over the years and always recommend them to family and friends. Many of whom are usually surprised to learn that many of my Apple products are actually refurbs. Other trusted refurbs straight from the manufacture are Nintendo and Oculus. DON'T EVER BUY A REFURB DIRECTLY FROM DYSON.
Never again from Dyson. Their refurb is faulty and Refund still pending for 3 weeks now!

And in my limited experience, they sometimes send you a higher spec’d product than what you ordered.

Wish I could could refurbished phones in NZ. They only do that for Macs here.
There should be a way around that. Can’t you have somebody purchase the phone outside New Zealand, and then ship the phone to you?

There’s been other members from other countries who do exactly that with refurbished phones, although a bit of a hassle sometimes with customs/borders.

I got amazing battery life on my 8 Plus. I think the SoC has more to do with the battery life than the battery capacity?

Same here. Nothing wrong with 8+ battery life. I've had mine for 3 1/2 years and the battery has just started to show it's age. 1000+ cycles and 80% BH.

Wait...
Refurbished 64GB iPhone 12 for $619?
New from carrier for $699?
What am I missing here?
All carriers offer a $30 subsidy on the 12 and 13 both mini and normal models.

Buying (and ACTIVATING ) with a carrier gets you the $699. If you want the device UNLOCKED (like the refurbished model) its $30 extra starting at $729.
