Apple Begins Shipping iPhone 4 to Customers

Finally got mine. Doesn't say it's in shenzhen or anything though. just blank. also says delivery for the 23rd but i'm not holding my breath.

I did the fedex trick thing and my iphone 4 just left Shenzhen China. I am soo happy. I should be receiving my email from apple for my shipping confirmation any minute now. This is awesome!!! Btw I placed my order on apple.com at 4:45 pm pst.

Wow. I was about to call it a night, so I checked Fedex. It appears that my iPhone has just left the factory!

you have to realize just like the ipads, there were some of us that never saw any updates till it reached the main hub in louisvile, also the iphones come in large pallets on the plane and then are broken up, until they are broken up, you may not get any updates which will happen at customs in louisville, KY

Well, that makes me feel a little better! Thursday can't get here soon enough!

Ordered on the 15th around 4:30 p.m. psd. Just got tracking half hour ago. Just Left Shenzhen. Fedex also claiming 10:30 a.m. delivery on the 23rd like most others. Would be pretty awesome, not gonna have a coronary if it doesn't happen.

Hmmm... I know it's not going to come to the 24th... but maybe if I stop by my local FedEx on the 23rd and say "hey, I didn't get it!" they'll give it to me... I doubt it since they have to make one try for delivery, but you never know.

My status is "Has not shipped yet" and it says it's going to ship on the 24th... I was hoping to have it delivered on that date

i agree i am still waiting for my only iPhone to ship.. still says in progress on the at&T site.

Wewt, just checked my AT&T status, shows shipped! Ordered mine ~230a on the 15th.

EDIT: My credit card (AMEX) doesn't show any charges, and not sure where I can see pending items, if at all. And attempting to track comes up w/ "NOT FOUND" with Fedex so far...

Ordered my iPhone 4 on the 15th at AT&T and I now have a ship date which is 6/17/10 (which is strange) a carrier and a tracking number but my status still says in progress. When I try to track my package though it says the information hasn't been sent to FEDEX yet and to check back later. This should be a good sign, no?

UPDATE: In Progress status has been updated to Shipped. Still no charge on my card and the tracking number still says it's waiting for information and I should check back later.

Same story here. My card has 2 pending charges. The usual dollar hold and one for the 32 gig. I finally got my order through sometime around 6 AM EST on the 15th. Hope they didn't rush these things out of the factory with bugs. This whole clusterf*&! order process has me a little nervous.

My Apple FedEx shipping notification came tonight. And it's shipping to my work address! Success on changing it after I ordered. Glad it worked out so I don't have to work from home all day.

Mine left Shenzhen. No mention of Lantau Island yet. This latest batch seems to be the late afternoon PT folks.

I have temp charges from Apple on my Amex already. It says Apple Computer Austin - why Austin?
