Apple Begins Shipping iPhone 4 to Customers

you may have paid for it. but it's not yours till the 24th
 
People really need to take a chill pill. So what if your status doesn't say shipped.... ffs it won't even be out until thursday.... It's freakin Saturday ffs. I think there should be a 2 a day maximum on checking sites... it should automatically cancel your shipment if you check it more. AND if any one makes another thread about their "status" it should automatically cancel their order, that will show em.

FWIW my father had one of his orders canceled.... sucks to be him.

I have a feeling that the orders form AT&T are also getting tracking numbers from fedex also but AT&T's site is going to be slow to update compared to apple. I don't think the phones have actually shipped yet, they just 'sent the information' to fedex already and got a tracking number in return and posted it to users accounts.

I have had day 1 shipments on the 3G S and the iPad now, and in both cases tons of people had odd shipping stated, tracking info, lack of tracking info, etc. Etc. Etc. And yet nearly everyone got their item when they were originally supposed to. Therefore, my advice to everyone is: Until you are watching the sun set on June 24th, do not worry about anything.

Yes, my 3GS was "prepared for shipment" until 2 am of the morning it was delivered. Everyone else was tracking theirs from China and I was sure mine would be late. Turns out Apple already had a large stock of them in the country. Mine shipped from Kentucky and I got it in NY at 9 am.

So, you never know where your phone is. You will get it on time. Yours might be in the US already.

Am I missing something? Why would anyone rate this article negative? Are there Apple haters on here with accounts purely so they can hit than negative button, i reckon so!

I didn't rate it negative but my guess would be the one's who are upset that their phone does not say shipped yet. :confused:
 
Yay, got my email! Fedex says I'm getting it by 4:30 on Thurs, just like other people's tracking. Exciting!
