I was just running down the battery on my iPhone by making it play the last keynote and noticed that they use an older 23" ACD for the demos.

Why didn't they use the 24" Glassy ACD....perhaps to prevent glare from all those lights in the keynote hall...hmmm?

If Apple can't use their own display for practical purposes, why sell it then?!

Is your avatar a kitty with a sniper rifle? :D

lol pretty much

It's because they always use the Cinema Displays? And yes...that is...

They usually use whatever display is currently on sale on their lineup. They used the acrylic displays when those were still being sold. Now that they have a 24" Glassy ACD it follows that they'd use that too but didn't for the above reasons

Why should a company use its own products? As long as someone is paying for them and they are making good money, they will continue to sell them, regardless if they use them or not.
