I pre-ordered a new iPad 3rd generation on launch day last week and have not been billed for it.
My debit card was used and a pending transaction of the full purchase price was visible on my bank account until yesterday. Here's my confusion: the iPad was marked "shipped" yesterday by Apple and I received a shipping notification from FedEx, but I have not been charged. The money is still in my account and when I called Apple Store Support, I was told they've already charged me and it wouldn't have shipped without my account being debited.
Why is the money still in my acct/why did Apple turn over my iPad to FedEx without charging me?
