Apple Bluetooth Headset shows Half Battery Always?

I recently bought the Apple Bluetooth Headset and even after a complete full charge (green indicator), the iPhone headset battery status icon always shows half battery level or lower. It doesn't light up full. After the Headset is charged, it shows a full level but, as soon as I unplug it from the charger it goes back to half? Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem!!!
The battery doesn't get me through the day with only 4 or 5 calls max.
I am very disappointed. I also get a constant buzzy sound.
I only have the headset for one month or so. This is not normal!!!
I will take it back!!!!
My iphone is 2G with firm. 2.1

Any help is appreciated

same thing happened to me.
as well as the unit being one of the worst bluetooth headsets ive owned.

it looks so sexy though.







exchange it. see if you come across the same problem again.

you guys are lucky enough
my apple bluettoth headsets that i bought one year ago, doesn't charge at all!
and i only have use it lest than a few days!!!

i'm so pissed off,
is there any firmware upgrade or anything for this headsets ?
and i can't exchage it , cause i/m not from US and i bouth thte headsets from US

Apple Bluetooth Headset Half Battery SOLUTION (mac users)

Hi there
I own the headset since one year, used it with a sonyericsson (so I was unable to see any battery meter) until last month, when I purchased my 3g Iphone, and I was really disappointed too in seeing the half charge even after nights charging.

Then I tried to completely discharge the headset this way: I paired the headset with my MacBook, choose it as the audio output in SystemPreferences, and shuffled my Itune's playlist all night long.

Next day I've charged it for 2 hrs or so, and voila': the next pairing with the Iphone showed FULL CHARGE!

Hope it works for all of you as well.
