Apps shouldn't be censored simply based on their critique of whether or not it is useful. There are tons of worthless, ****** apps for the iPhone. The idea that he is charging for such an app is beyond me, but as long as there are plenty of morons out there willing to buy then there will be plenty of people who are more than willing to take advantage of them. Such is life.
Rather, Apple should create a, "Worthless and stupid, just like you," and a, "Probably a Scam, but your too busy browsing the app store at the bar," category in the app store to accommodate such things.
I'm never going to buy and it won't bother me when it takes up space while I'm searching for other, better fart apps. It's just that it's there to begin with; that someone actually took the time to make it. I guess that's more of a problem with people than it is with the app store though.
For the record, I have an iPhone. I also hate people who go out to a public place with there friends to hang out and socialize but end up playing with their phones by themselves or showing off their fart apps to people. I also think that people who have their bluetooth headsets on at a bar at 1am need to get their priorities straight and just ostracize themselves from society already. Plus, you look like a total d-bag, and women don't think you're cool cause your ear flashes blue.
Also, while I'm at it, people who do answer their phones without question or polite excuse while with friends or guests at a restaurant or something similar should be shot because they exude an attitude of total irreverence towards the people who are actually with them. As if what Sarah has to tell you about her day at the spa is way more important than what you are currently doing at the moment and can not wait for 45 minutes.
Ok now, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, farting...
Anyway, to whomever asked about iPhone flash support, it's done-ish. They've claimed to have it running in an emulator, but Adobe has also said that they need more than the available SDK in order to integrate it. That's possibly due to Apple's limit on background apps or more likely due to the fact that it will either need to be integrated into Safari or the firmware itself (can Safari call upon third party apps to open them? Or just the App/iTunes Store?). Either way, it all just comes down to whether or not Apple will allow it, just like this.
