Apple BT Keyboard not syncing

I can't find another thread on this, so here I am posting away. I've had my PB and BT keyboard/mouse for about 4 months now (love it!). My keyboard and mouse originally synced up perfectly! When my mouse ran out of batteries, I replaced them and its been working fine. About a month ago, my keyboard ran out, so I replaced them. Now, the keyboard won't sync (hasn't for about a month). I've tried another set of batteries and it still won't connected. It gets to the part where I type the passkey in, but then it says it can't connect. I've tried turning it off/on and the green light comes on for a few seconds and then turns off.

Any suggestions?? THANKS!

that sounds weird. since you tried already two sets of batteries. i've had the same problem but 4new batteries took care of the problem. if i were you i would try one more set of batteries and if that does not solve the problem bring it back to the apple store and see if they can firgure it out or replace it with a new one.

See if you can re-flash the firmware of the keyboard using this updater:

It sounds like...there might be a hardware problem somewhere. 🙁 Normally, I don't think you even have to re-pair when you change batteries.
