I expect:
March/April: new 27 iMac with M1pro/max and hopefully an option for a M1max Duo, a M1pro Mac Mini, 24 inch and 27 inch displays and the iPhone SE
June: new Apple Silicon MacPro with M1max quad, new 32 inch Pro Display XDR and the announcement, but not release, of the AR/VR headset. I expect that to be released in December.
September: iPhone 14, Apple Watch series 8, iPad 10th gen and iPad Air5
October: M2 MacBook Air, M2 24 inch iMac, M2 low end Mac mini, M2 iPad Pro, AirPods Pro 2
I'd expect iMac Pro to come with options of M1 Pro/Max/Duo/Quad, there's no need to hold back the Quad. And the Mac Pro to be simply Duo/Quad options, but maybe w Pro/Max options. The Pro/Max and Duo/Quad will have one major architectural difference, in that the Duo/Quad will have the ability to extend RAM beyond the SoC to at least 1.5TB, but most likely more.

If supply chain issues are resolved, that doesn't reflect in the lead times for M1 Macs yet.

Usually by this time in the cycle you'd expect to receive a BTO MBP in a week or two, but order one today and you're still only getting it in March.

It would be nice to see things back to normal, production-wise.

I'd like to see "sustained production momentum" move to automobiles too.

Tell me about it! I'm in the market for a new car and it's a massive pain to even test drive a car... since no one has any cars in stock.

I know it's been mentioned before that the first focus for those "glasses" are developer and "professionals"... but you've got to be kidding me as far as the mock ups. No way in heck someone will walk around wearing swim goggles outside of the home or office. In order for that product to go from developer focused to mainstream it needs to look so much different.
Apple has indicated that they don’t expect people to wear headsets for extended periods of time. These early models will certainly not be as lightweight and easy to wear as would be required if you were going to wear them outside or while walking around inside. Also those mockups are just journalists speculating and the main one looks like snorkeling goggles but that likely has little resemblance to Apple’s design.

We are probably several years away from AR glassses that you might wear while walking down the street. Imaging, battery, processing and interfaces need a lot of refinement first.

I suspect that Apple may hold back the Duo/Quad until they are ready to reveal the Mac Pro. The first iMac Pro will probably have the M1 Pro and Max pretty much like the MBPs. You may be thinking of the old iMac Pro that was originally envisioned as a replacement for the Mac Pro and came with Xeons. It seems like they will treat all of the larger iMacs as “Pros” but with different chips for different performance and price points.
