Ordered a black leather skin from SGP Ebay store a couple of days ago.

I like the carbon fiber look a lot, but this one seems nice too.

Hey guys,

Got the leather skin from SGP a couple of days ago and wanted to ask those who have it.

Does your leather skin actually cover the whole back?

I installed it perfectly and notice that it doesn't really cover it completely and even with the apple bumper on, you can still notice that it's not covered all the way in some parts.

It's something you really have to look for to see it, but still.. ;)

Anyways, it looks great, I like the look a little more than the carbon fiber look.

I'll post some picks later today.

Mine does not go right to the edge. There is a small border of glass left all the way around. Not enough that I consider it a problem though. I don't think either of ours are defective though -- just how they're made. Now that I've had it a while, I kinda like that little glass "border" -- it almost makes the leather look like it is inset (if that makes sense).

Seems like you already had answered my question.

The gaps are not as noticeable with the bumper on, but still, just a bit in some places.

I replaced my leather back with a 3m carbon fiber back, and never looked back. I don't use a case and it's completely seamless.

it was pretty annoying to have a gap in the back. even with the free bumper there was still a noticeable gap with the sgp leather

My leather has the gap. Someone called it gay, but I like the way it is. It has a slight gloss outline with the bumper and the bumper won't curl it back or bubble it.
