I was in the first wave of orders, but got this from Apple last night. Doesn't make sense .... I only ordered one! It even shows that clearly on my Order Status (which now says "Cancelled") :mad:

Did someone else use your credit card? Did anyone else order one and have it shipped to your address?

Pretty sure that didn't happen.

I guess I'll just call and see if I can speak to someone.

So much for my hopes of getting one early! ... despite me getting in there really early ... I placed the order just before 1 am on Friday.
 
My order was cancelled too for no reason at all. Never got an email. Just now shows cancelled on apple site order status. From what I can find out. If the order computer doesnt like even one tiny thing in your order the order gets cancelled. I called customer support they really have no idea whats going on and they really dont care. The only choice they give you is to reorder and get to the rear of the shipping line.
 
The very first thing that I would do is check my credit card online to make sure there isn't any funny stuff going on. Then I would call Apple and see what can be done to make sure that I can get back on the list.
 
I made the order 5 mins after it was available. Received an email that it got cancelled 2 days later. The email has an email address that I should respond to in case of any problem, so I replied.

Received response a day later that my order is reinstated. Check the website, and they kept my shipping date to 3-5 working days. But keeping my fingers crossed, till they actually ship it.
 
I received the same email for an order that I've already received 2 days ago, lol. They did not reverse the charge on my credit card, however.
