Now through September 15, you can get 5% Daily Cash when you use the Apple Card via Apple Pay on up to $750 in combined eligible purchases at Booking.com, Hertz, ChargePoint, Exxon, and Mobil. The maximum total Daily Cash you can earn through this offer is $37.50, according to Apple, with complete details outlined on this page.

Ordinarily, the Apple Card offers 3% Daily Cash at these partners, but this limited-time promotion provides an additional 2% Daily Cash on eligible purchases up to the $750 limit. Apple has given the offer an "August road trip" theme, as the eligible purchases include hotel rooms, rental cars, gas, and electric vehicle charging.

Apple's credit card is available in the U.S. only.

I suspect that it will be. Goldman Sachs really isn’t comfortable with retail banking or almost anything consumer facing. They’re an investment bank. Chase, on the other hand, is big on retail banking and has an impressive selection of highly successful credit cards already.

I use it for App Store purchases. That’s about it. What initially was a very promising card quickly became the most boring in my wallet.

It's was the only thing I used the card for as well, and mostly for iUP.

Very mid and boring card. The only value in it is the 3% back on apple stuff and the 0% financing on their hardware.

Everything else has been outclassed by other cards.

Amazon offers 5% back on their own store (sometimes 6-10% as one time promotions)- Apple should do the same to remain competitive

That's crazy! I knew when Apple Pay launched that in the US there were lots of places that actively wouldn't accept it, but I imagined that was something that was now long in the past. Everywhere I've been outside of the US, Apple Pay is just accepted and treated like any other card payment method - if the (physical) retailer accepts Visa/MasterCard, they don't differentiate whether you pay with a physical card or via Apple Pay.
