You should never carry a balance on a credit card. I’ve done it so not being judgmental but I’ve learned from experience. If you can’t fight the urge to charge more than you can pay at the end of the month, cut the cards up.

I agree with the card management being easy. It shows new card holders how much interest they are paying and it makes it super easy to pay.

It's not just the management, it is their entire customer policy that makes it such an easy card. The biggest thing is there being no set due date. You have until the end of the next month to pay off the previous month's balance before any interest is applied and there are no late fees other than the interest if you don't pay it before the end of the month.
It's dangerous if you don't spend responsibly, but it is the holy grail of a card to use as a checking account buffer for everyday spending. Buffer here meaning having all the advantages of using a Credit Card for purchases vs. a Debit Card, like immensely better fraud protection, not being a means to spend more than you have. if you want to make 2, 3, 4 or 5 payments a month it makes it super easy. If I make a large purchase I'll usually pop in and pay it the same or next day and reap the 2% cash back.

I’m pretty sure mine has a set due date. It’s at the end of the month. Also no late fees doesn’t mean no consequences for being late. I haven’t tested it but I suspect late payments get reported to the credit reporting agencies just like any other card.

I agree with this sort of completely with emphasis on the spend responsibly part. It’s easy to be irresponsible. At least from my personal experience when they give you this credit limit of say $5000 it’s easy to see some expensive fancy thing you can’t afford but buy it anyway.
