Apple Card randomly declining?

So recently I used the physical Apple Card a few times, which resulted in some unexpected outcomes. The card declined on a $5 purchase using the mag strip, also sometimes when using the chip.

Resulting in me having to pull out another card. I haven’t had any issues using it through Apple Pay however. It will occasionally do this, so I don’t believe the card is damaged(it’s also kept in a wallet 24/7.) Anyone else?

My experience has been the opposite, have had card declined several times using Apple Pay, never using the physical card. Think they are just working on ironing out the bugs that shouldn't be there, but are.
