Didn’t know AMEC and Discover had savings accounts?

Either way none are offered here just north of 49th parallel. :(

Dear lord I hope nobody is using their savings to make ANY money in mind, but this interest rate in todays economy is phenomenal!

Therein is the key yeah?

Unfortunately like Apple Card, Apple Cash is in Canada well most likely never get the opportunity to partake.
Opened a savings account with Discover two months ago. So far I do like it because it’s a very easy transition. The current APY looks weak now lol.

Well….it told me I was set. Nothing there. I rebooted. Didn’t do anything. Not sure now if it actually set up. I’ll try again later if it lets me. Maybe the system is overwhelmed.

Same. I've tried a few time and I get the same message as before. I guess the email I got saying it was successful was a lie?

Would have been nice if this was open to anyone who has Apple Cash set-up on their iphones. I don't need/want another credit card so looks like I'm sticking with one of the other online banks that offer similar interest rates.

Just showed up! Took about an hour.
That's good to hear. I got the Congrats email, but my app was unchanged. Now my unclaimed daily cash has disappeared but the savings account still hasn't shown up. Hopefully that last bit happens soon.

I hardly ever use my Apple card, but there’s not really much of a downside to having it. I usually get better cashback with other cards, but 3% cashback on Apple purchases and 2% cashback if you use Apple Pay are pretty solid.

Having a card you rarely use isn’t the bad thing for a credit score that many people think it is. It’s actually good for your score to increase the amount of credit available and decrease your credit used percentage.

Yes, I could have written this post myself. Same thing, word for word. My credit score is 828.
anything above about 780 is an equivalent score, mine can bounce 30 points month to month depending upon credit utilization. big charge one month score drops, paid completely by next month reporting date score zooms back up.
