My podiatrist said that Nike shoes are the worst! That was quite a while ago though, but still. I won't buy them so, oh well.
Take a look at Altra Running shoes. They have a wide toe box. I have used them for years with my long distance running and they are comfy. Lots of ultra-runners use them.

You can save a lot more than 6% by foregoing spending money on Nike's overpriced shoes and getting some at Costco or similar places.

Even if it was cash, $75 is a very lousy and cheap sign up bonus that should be avoided.

In comparison, Amex Plat gives you 150k points and $200 cash back. OK, the AF is $695 but still if you travel, you can get back that fee easily.

You can get 4.9%.

Step 1. Let's say you want a Mac that costs $2,500 and you have that $2,500 in your bank.
Step 2. Choose 12 monthly installments.
Step 3A. According to Apple you get 3% Daily Cash on Apple products.
Step 3B. Put the money you didn't spend yet in the 4.15% Apple Card savings, and you get an additional 1.9% over the entire 12 months.

3% + 1.9% = 4.9%

Just hoping I'm not mistaken in my calculations or in my interpretation of the Apple Card. I'm, not in the US, so...

You can get 5% cash back every day using various cards (i.e. USBank Cash+). Also, it's much better to just buy Apple GCs when there is a 20% off sale. If you worried about the credit card warranty, just buy AppleCare and you still better off.

Ugh. Just opened an account for my wife yesterday. Didn't get the $75 offer. :(
Since it is not a targeted offer (i.e. AMEX's famous 100k points target offer), you can likely call or message and they can add it. This is not an uncommon thing (especially with Chase and AMEX), but mileage may vary with GS.

These articles about Apple Card are deeply annoying because it still is not available outside the US and never will be.
Tim Cook in my view is a xenophobic bigot who hates all countries outside the US.
If he truly wants Apple to become a global services provider then he needs to actually provide those services outside the US!
We in the Uk as with a lot of countries are sick and tired of his inability to launch a single product well or other than in the US.
He needs to go and go quickly!

Maybe if other countries would stop using Apple over stupid BS, they could get more of Apple's offerings.

Isn't the EU ALREADY looking to sue Apple over NFC? Why would it invest any more resources in it for such countries?

I've got NO doubt Apple doesn't make Apple Card available to places that would just sue them for "illegally tying" issuance of a credit card to having their phone - and then sue them again for tying availability of a savings account to having a credit card, which requires having their phone. I mean, why would Apple bother with all that?

Residents of over-litigious countries like to say "follow our laws or do business elsewhere" - well, Apple seems to have chosen the latter with respect to some of its offerings. You got what you asked for!

I am not talking about Apple's physical products bt about Apple's services and that is down to apple with respect. Apple are refusing to release Apple Card outside the US because the banks that apple would use want too much of a fee to do so and apple are being too greedy from my research.

Apple do sell physical products to many counties who bring anti trust lawsuits etc against apple but that doe snot stop apple from selling to those countries doe it?
This just smacks of apple being far too greedy and simply being allergic to spending the money needed as that is Tim Cook's defining characteristic and this is from watching him for many years. I am sure he is a nice guy but he is no product guy, he is a finance guy pure and simple and what apple needs is someone that is a product person and is as committed as Jobs was.
For all his faults, Steve Jobs would not have settled for the clown show that Cook is had he been still here.

At the end of the day this is mostly on apple and there is no excuse for it, especially when apple have the sort of cash and resources they have - heck they could even buy a bank if they wanted to and not blink.

Truth is that ONCE again the outside world gets screwed as Cook shows he is out of his depth. I am a apple fan and use a MacBook and can see the quality has dropped for many years under Cook and one only needs to look at apple music to see just how pi** poor it is next to Spotify and ha been for years now with Cook STILL refusing to improve it.
Apple Music on android has crossfade but iPhone still does not have it and on the Mac it hardly works and when it does it is pure and utter garbage.
This is one example of many why Cook needs too go and whilst I understand your desire to defend him and apple , with respect you should not as he is guilty and needs to go!

So, your contention is that if Apple were to release a credit card in the EU, and that credit card required the applicant to own an Apple phone, that the EU govt would have no objections?

As long as Apple's stock keeps going up, I don't care what Cook does, what products and services Apple releases or where it releases them. For that matter, its products could COMPLETELY SUCK for all I care - as long as people keep buying them, that's really all that matters.
