Someone emailed me this... in case it helps anyone

CompUSA is going out of Business. (OLD NEWS) They are offering some decent blowout specials, including 50% off all Apple Care products. I was able to pick up Apple Care for my MBP 2.2 SR for a total of $175.00. This is unheard of pricing for Apple Care and well worth the trip to the local store.

The one at Jantzen Beach (PDX, OR) had AppleCare for iMac at $125, iPod $40. They are trying to sell iMacs for only $100 off. You'd think if they were trying to liquidate, they'd be $500 off. They are also selling outdated software, like Adobe PageMaker 7 for $700.
