I keep my Macs maybe a year at best.....
If you turn them that fast, then it would actually add to the resale value in my opinion. Heck if I were buying a used machine on eBay, I'd feel a lot better and would pay more if it had AppleCare on it. At 179 for MBP, I'd bet you'd get all of that back on resale value. And if you did keep your machine over 1 year, you'd be covered as well.
