Well I just got my Macbook Pro on friday and I'm really loving it. It's an incredibly nice machine, and I'm looking at purchasing Apple Care now.

I noticed that Amazon sells Apple Care and they have a parts code with it, like M/A etc. When I look on Apple's website I don't see them list codes for different products, it's only seperated by type of product (Macbook, Macbook Pro, etc.. So is it safe to assume that there is only one Apple Care for Macbook Pro's? Both new models and old models?

Also, is it safe to purchase Apple Care from eBay? I noticed that Apple Care being sold on eBay doesn't contain come in a retail box so I'm wondering how that works. Do they have a way of purchasing Apple Care from Apple.com for a cheap price and then simply reselling the code for a small profit?

I bought it off of eBay for US$160. They only e-mailed me the key and it worked perfectly!

There are quite a few sellers dedicated to selling cheap AppleCare on eBay.
