Apple Care, how is to connected to iMac

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting apple care for my iMac. But during the check out process, there is no way of 'connecting' it to the serial number of the iMac i own. How is this done? Regards.

Is you iMac over 1 year old? If it is then you maybe out of luck as it has to be done before the 1 year. My suggestion would be to phone Apple Support directly. I am sure they can do it for you over the phone.

You'll get the box with a registration code on it. Go to the website that it tells you, enter the code and your serial number and boom you're all set. Occasionally your purchase date might not be confirmed, and they'll email asking for a copy of the receipt.

Suggestion. Try looking at BHPhotoVideo. They sell AppleCare at a really good discount and is tax free for most people. 🙂. Registration works the same way.
