Apple Care iPhone X

Got my notice of apple care on the phone, it's dated 10/27/17 with an expiration of two years from that date. However that was the date of purchase not the date I had it in hand. Anyone think Apple would have an issue if I came in like 10/31/19 with a phone problem? It just seems odd they dated it when I placed the order not when I received it. I mean they know when it's in my possesion.

Call them and see it can be adjusted, since you don't have the phone
