Hi everyone. Decided to buy the Apple Watch Series 1 Space Grey Sport about a week and half ago. I know someone at my local Apple Store who got me £50 off plus my mother chipped in £80 for me so i got a pretty good deal i think.

But today as i was rushing around in the kitchen i accidentally knocked it against the metal handle on the fridge and scratched the casing. I am pretty OCD for the first few months with my devices and i always keep them mint. As the watch is something that is always on your wrist and is bound to have its few knocks and scrapes (I have loads of watches that have their own scars) I was wondering how many of you have Apple Care on your watches and do you think it is good to get for peace of mind?

Thanks

MM

I have it. I'm pretty hard on watches, so it made perfect sense.

I'm not worried if I ding it or scratch it. I know I'm always able to get it replaced if needed.

I just received my S2 watch and I'm sure I'll get it within the 60 days...I'm hard on watches myself and I'm sure I'll regret not getting it,

I personally have never needed AppleCare for any of my products, let alone my Apple Watches. But I can understand if you are hard on your watches, it would benefit you for Apple Care.

I'm normally really gentle with my things. Never really been hard on my watches but it's just for the peace of mind in case I do accidentally knock it and it leaves a big chip or screen crack.

Nothing wrong with that. I own the stainless Apple Watch. The Sapphire display and the 316 L stainless casing is fairly durable and I have zero scratches on my screen. Good luck with your purchase.
