Apple care on magsafe?

If it's not cut, chewed etc... than it should be covered under Apple's limited warranty.

I always wonder what Apple store employees really know. Here in Thailand I went through an entire store's staff all the way to management and didn't get definite answer about my magsafe coverage...until I talked to the head of Apple Thailand who said yes, of course that's covered...uh...right, of course! 😱

Should be covered. When my first one burnt through, Apple replaced it for me.

ALL apple products are covered by a 1 year limited warranty. If it's got an Apple on the box it's covered.

If you get it with a MacBook or MacBook Pro and get AppleCare on it then the power adapter is covered for 3 years with AppleCare as well.
