Apple care plus or squaretrade?

This policy of Apple's not covering water damage but offering a water resistant feature?? I really don't get this. Hey, our new phone is water resistant. Use it with confidence. But we don't really mean it because we're not covering it.

I think i'm switching to squaretrade this year.

Welp, mine is going to get wet. That's why i'm buying it. I don't think i'll risk apple care plus then.

I've used ST the last 3 phones because I can get it for 3 years. I typically sell the 2 year old phone and having an extra year on the warranty is a nice selling feature. You can pro-rate a refund or transfer. Fortunately I haven't needed to actually use it yet, but I have transferred no problem.

Wells Fargo credit card. If your phone ever breaks, gets stolen, they cover the cost for $25 for it to be fixed or a new phone.

Oh and yeah, 25$ you pay only when you actually need a replacement. Its not monthly.
