Apple care transfer?

Let's say my iMac was toast.....and I got a replacement how can I use my existing apple care on my replacement model?

I don't think thats possible since applecare is attached to the particular mac you bought it for.

I doubt it but its worth a try.

If your Mac is replaced under AppleCare, then the AppleCare warranty should be transferred to the replacement machine, but only for the remaining term of the warranty.
