I've got 25% off coupon today from Squaretrade for any warranty, which makes cost of warranty to be $34 from Squaretrade for AppleWatch Sport. Whereas Apple sells same for $50. So which one is better to go with ?
Anyone here used their Apple care for their iWatch ?

i got applecare for my stainless steel . i never used it yet. i haven't had any problems. i am a real big square trade fan
but that coverage limit square trade has has been bothering me lately. each apple repair would cost square trade $229 or $329 ( for stainless steel) so according to their deal, they won't spend more then $399 in repairs.

so what happens if you have moreqthen one accidental damage claim to your apple watch with square trade and the coverage runs out?

id get the square trade 0 deductible plan. the $34 plan you talk about has a deductible.

i talked to square trade about this, someone actually called me, and they say that this coverage limit gets overruled
by their ' make sure the customers device is whole again ' policy.

people say if you get applecare you get 2 accidental damage claims.

but if that coverage limit is real then you only get 1.74 repairs with square trade??

if you need a new battery after the warranty with apple care the battery is free. if you need a new battery after the warranty with square trade you need to pay to replace the battery and have square trade reimburse you

if you have any time capsules or airport extreme base stations that bought recently, then anything applecare'd will cover you. its 2 years before you got the applecare plan and during applecare

I've only had one experience with squaretrade, and it was excellent. It was just for a sub $100 piece of electronics (dashcam) and they just had me ship it in and they paid me the full price of what I paid without any hassle. The camera was a no-name Chinese brand too.
