I actually called Apple today regarding this issue. The lady said it could take up to a week for it to show up

It appears in your settings (general > about). I got my phone using IUP and thankfully I didn't have an issue of it not showing up like many have reported.

Are you in iUP? I have received an email in the past like a day or two after receiving my phone.

I have been wondering the same..as my wife and I both have Iphone 11 and Pro Max on IUP and "Add AppleCare+ Coverage" is indicated on both....For our watches we received email notification a few days ago.

Check your Apple warranty status. Enter a serial number to review your eligibility for support and extended coverage.

checkcoverage.apple.com

If you bought AppleCare + the coverage may not show for a few days given the amount of activations

Received emails late yesterday for both devices with AC+ Proof of Coverage!

It shows up right on my phone under SETTINGS>GENERAL>ABOUT>APPLECARE+

I am guessing it’s better to pay in full for Apple Care vs. the 7.99.
If you cancel the pay in full you still get a prorated refund.
