Hello
I own iPhone 15 PM blue titanium and also Apple Care+. For the first time I would not use a case.
Is it easy to get a replacement device if the damage is aesthetic and there is no big damage as a result of a fall?
I really wish I could enjoy its incredible color.
Thank you for your answers

Sorry for the error . I forgot to write in English!
Yes, it is true.
I currently have a clear case, but I find it changes the way the light reflects on my back. The color is not as beautiful.

Why would you replace it if damage isn’t major?

Yes, AppleCare+ allows you to replace the entire device through Express Replacement for a fee, though generally they still ask what’s wrong with the device and why you’re replacing it. In the US that fee is $99, which is a bit more than the $29 associated with fixing front or back broken glass

I think cosmetic damage is not covered by Apple Card + if I am not mistaken. Just use clear case to enjoy the color choice and avoid cosmetic damages.

Cosmetic damage is not covered, so you would pay (in USA) the $99 fee for Express Replacement. Your claim would be rejected if they see the phone first (e.g. in-store or send-in).

They keep changing AppleCare+. It was $9.99 per month for as long as i wanted it when I bought my iPhone 14 Pro Max last year. First time I’ve seen the unlimited time. Just checked it for my 15, same price for two years max.

Even on monthly?

Got charged with AC+ when purchased the phone, but has yet to register with device. I normally get the “proof” email within 24h of activation. Not yet received.

They added theft and loss for $13.49 a month or $269 for 24 months.

Have you received your phone yet? They don't send that email until there is a serial number to link it to.

when you choose not to use a case or screen protector, don’t post in here about how your phone is broken. and remember , you can’t fix stupid

Actually, I wonder if I’m reading it wrong. $9.99/mo or &199 for two years. So the monthly might be unlimited.
Monthly is.... well, not "unlimited" but until Apple decides to stop offering it (presumably when it becomes VIN).

I bought the 2-year plan, which can be converted to monthly within 30 days of expiring (which is what I also did with my 12 Pro, still going on Monthly AC+ in my wife's hands). The 2-year plan is a bit of a discount from monthly; you save a few bucks but have to pay it all up front so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I can see reasons to go either way with that.

I currently have an iPhone 12 on monthly Apple care and I’m still covered. Got a battery replacement last month.

Thank you for adding this information to the discussion! I was just wondering about converting to a monthly plan after 2 year coverage was done and this exactly answered my question. Much appreciated! Also bonus kudos for providing the link too. :)

Yep that 12 Pro will certainly need a battery within a year, it's at 83% right now. When you deduct the cost you WON'T pay for the inevitable battery change, AC+ is in my opinion a bargain for the other coverages it offers.

There are those who go through (imo) ridiculous machinations to "keep their battery in good condition" - using 5w chargers, obsessing over the level before it gets put on charger, using shortcuts & HomeKit power outlets to shut off charging at 80%, etc. etc. ad absurdium 🤪

Me, I just drop it on a charger every night & whenever I'm in the car.
