Apple case lip interferes with contact list a-z picking

This has got to been discussed before;
“Apple case lip interferes with contact list a-z picking”

Yet it still bothers me, and my wife.
I’m a iPhone 17 pro user, she’s a iPhone 14 user, we both use the basic Apple case as shown.

Wish Apple would expand the contact list touch zone to the left say 3-5 pixels more, then your finger touch would still pick the intended letter and scroll to that, not the individual contact line.

No. In my experience, any case with a raised lip has this issue to some degree..
