Does anyone know if Apple Cash Pay defaults to sending money from the debit card in your Apple Wallet even if you have multiple credit cards added to the wallet AND have one of the credit cards set to the default card for Apple Pay?

I can’t find a clear answer to this in the support documents on Apple’s website.

Thank you

When I did it this morning, it defaulted to the second debit card I have in my wallet. I had to change it before sending cash to wifey...
By any chance did you have a credit card as your default payment method in your wallet?

I think you can set the default card? My default credit card is never the first option upon using Apple Pay Cash, but my default Apple Pay card is a credit card.

Defaults to debit cards, if it didn't people would be charged a lot of cash advance fees.
