I'm delighted to see an Elvis song on this playlist (anyone know what ad that was used in?)… but it's a bummer that they didn't include the song from the original iPad ad, "There Goes My Love" by The Blue Van. I listened to that song countless times while I pined for the iPad and anxiously awaited the iPad 2, which my family pressured me to wait for. (I shouldn't have listened to them, I should've sprung for the original.) Here's that exciting ad.
 
I guess they are getting enough subscription revenue that they don't care and the huge drop off in music purchase seem to prove their total apathy for the ownership model.

I don't think it's that. I think they just try to simplify thing, or it's another brain-dead moment of Eddy Cue (like iWorks), who knows?
