An apple in an orchard of plums (梅田). Makes sense to have another store on the opposite side of the Yodo
nice.

regarding the logo itself, i think that the logo designer probably was looking to be thematically aligned with the interior of GrandFront Osaka.
Here are photos from the web showing the interior of the centre.

why does that graphic look like someone sitting on the the toilet?
I think that's a you issue. 😂

I like that people are making dark mode versions, but I think what people want are wallpapers with integrated light/dark modes; bonus points for including several in-between steps.

Here's a previous Apple Store opening wallpaper I liked, but it only has the dark background.

Why is there excitement about a new retail store opening?

I can never figure this out.
Some people live there, so this might be why.

I am actually moving to Osaka in 3 weeks, so this is great news indeed!

On a side note: That wallpaper is kind of nice when using the spatial effect.

Neat. Penrose-style logo design … seems to be a nod to the area at which this store is opening. Apparently it’s like a maze there. Like a labyrinth. Multi-layered floors. Intersecting train lines. Winding escalators.

When you view the design with that in mind, it makes sense.

Nope. I'm convinced it's a guy sitting on a toilet
