The links are in the article for the wallpapers. What difference does it make if it's on the US site?
Well it would be nice if these were easy to find for the Asians living in America (and in other western countries) who also celebrate Chinese New Year. Plenty of non-Asians also appreciate Chinese art, culture and traditions, too, and would possibly be interested in these beautiful wallpapers.

My thanks to MacRumors for the links.

Interesting. I don't recall Apple releasing Christmas, Hanukkah or American New Year wall papers. Is there a reason Tim is sucking up this hard to the Chinese, or is that just the thing to do these days?

Because when Chinese New Year is celebrated, custom dictates hanging and display of red symbolism for good fortune to a much greater extent than Christmas decorations. This lends itself to phone wallpapers. Learn some culture.

Wallpapers are free. The iTunes free stuff we used to get for Christmas cost them a lot more.

Oh please, stop being so sensitive. Apple has done many promotions for other markets for years. Look at Japan's new year surprise box promotion, America's Black Friday sale, etc.
Yes. But the Japanese surprise box is only in Japan. Apple is bending over backwards by doing Chinese New Year workshops in US stores. That's the difference and other groups have the right to ask why nothing for them.
