The problem with Ted Lasso season 2, is that Ted Lasso, or the character's relentless optimism is no longer the subject of the series. The trailer was misleading. It did not have the feel good, uplifting vibe that made season 1 so good. If I wanted a relationship drama, I would have watched something else.

I watched her for the first time when she was doing the Mac Pro. I wasn't very impressed, and wondered who bought her that setup. It cost more than the first house I ever owned, and she was kinda flaky and came across, to me, as entitled, and rather vacuous....

Who ever would waste that much money on her could have given me that kit, and I'd give it a good working over. *shrug*

She obviously gets views because she's 'easy on the eyes', but if it weren't for that, hmm...

I wouldn't, and haven't searched out her videos since the Mac Pro one. But I can see the draw...

How many people showed up? There must have been thousands and thousands busting those doors down to meet the Lasso actors, let alone Cook. It was probably a madhouse event with unbridled ebullience sweeping the effluent mob. This was a unique event for a mega-hit series and top CEO!!!

My only experience for a 'special event' at an Apple Store was the opening day of Mountain Lion. It was at an upscale mall, and by the time they were opening the doors, people were lined up across the mall, and almost out the doors. It was a very circus like atmosphere, and employees were giving out swag as the line started moving. I got the t-shirt, and got to witness the throngs of people pouring into the store to see the new OS. I bought the thumb drive install media, and then just stood to watch. Pretty crazy, but people were actually calm, and very well mannered. Some just came t get the t-shirt. Collectors items? I can only imagine the excitement for a store opening/reopening. Oh, I was in SFO for an iPhone introduction, arriving at the store the next day. It was so active, and so many people lining up to possibly snag one that first few days. That's when I was sitting for a Siri demo, and found out that Siri can swear. Like swear a blue streak... I'd imagine they fixed that since then. One guy sitting in the demo was really surprised at Siri's accomplishment. I just laughed... The presenter didn't realize his words were misinterpreted until our reaction. It was priceless...

Top photo is in the back of the store shooting to the front and vice versa.

Mirrors on the ceiling? Wow... So you can watch yourself computing, and spending money.
Well if you look, it makes it quite easy to spot people through the mirror when you are at one end of the store and they are at the opposite side. The space is huge, the pics don't really give the scope of how large it is. Anyway, I think that is probably why they chose to do the mirrors.

The future is digital. we don't need more physical stores. with AR you can check and buy a product in your bathroom.
But you cannot FEEL the quality in AR, you cannot know the accurate size in hand, know how a keyboard feels, see the accurate brightness of a devices screen.

The point of physical retail stores is to avoid the logistics, and shipping return costs for people that love a product in AR yet dislike it once in hand.

Online purchasing is great and it works very well when a company incurs the cost of returns in full. When a company charges for restocking and shipping a person is less likely to continually shop there. Imagine if Amazon did this for every customer lol they’d would’ve never got as large as they did.

It's kind of bittersweet to see this for me. I was one of the original staff at the Grove when it opened in 2002. I was there for three years when I was in college, and while the store desperately needed more space, It's going to be weird to visit and not see the glass staircase and skylight anymore.

Just how oblivious are you to how much YouTubers with her subscriber amounts make?
