Nice architecture, but:
1. I'm paying for it via high prices on Apple products (a sign someone could eat Apple's lunch), and
2. It reminds me of a nuclear mushroom cloud! </cold_war_kid>

Ha, same here.

Amazing how the international stores look a **** ton better than the ones in the US.

Depends where you go. The Chicago River store is one of the very best, the NYC Fifth Avenue store is iconic and a precursor to the more recent glass stores, and I particularly like the Grand Central Terminal store in NYC (which stays out of the way of the already-beautiful architecture there). I'm sure there are more good ones as well.

I believe it's Foster + Partners. They also designed Apple Iconsiam in Bangkok.

Yes, they’ve designed a number of Apple stores (not to mention Apple Park as well)

edited to add - Did Foster + Partners actually do the design of Apple Central World? It would be logical to assume given similarity to the Steve Jobs Theatre, but I've not found any attribution.

I haven't seen innovative store design in some time, the idea of this store that looks like a tree giving shade to Apple customers is both fitting of Apple being the tree that customers go to pick its "apple"s and the Thai environment... very nice

Beautiful. My new favorite store by far. Much better than all the grays that Apple uses in so many of their stores. This is both modern, and natural at the same time which isn’t easy to pull off. I love it.

They're not all beautiful by the way. A lot of them are just regular storefront. But this one is truly amazing.

I said “beautifully designed” specifically Lol. Even the old stores are nicely put together and symmetrical even if the look is “blah”. A lot of stores damaged though have the updated design.

This store is out of this world.
