LOLing at all the comments about a CEO who is giving a statement about his company. Does anyone expect him to say anything other than things are great and he's excited about the future? Seriously?
I also think people (myself included at times) have unrealistic expectations when it comes to tech that's going dazzle. We all know things will get faster, have screens, longer battery life, etc. Other "innovations" are harder to come by. The use of other materials for some isn't considered innovation. Size and shape as well.
And then there are things that I do find interesting - like Apple's "handoff" feature. However, this is only truly exciting if you're only in the Apple camp. I understand Apple's model - but at the same time, it would be great for features like this to be cross-platform.
It would be great if facetime didn't rely on two people having the same brand phone.
Again - I understand the business model. But while many retail brands are working to put the customer at the center of everything they do, this is one area where some companies are not.
