I really feel sorry for Mr. Cook, but he has little choice if he doesn't want the Trump Phone to get released (anyone remember that...it continues getting delayed.. But those that preordered sure are happy)

When you are the CEO of an American company and the president of the United States invites you to something, you go.
Amazing how he chose to do that and wasn't strong-armed by the threat of tariffs.

Spot-on.
It seems many here would be OK if Cook didn't meet with trump and instead were hit with a 50% to 100% passed-on tariff next time they wanted to by a Mac or iPhone.
I like to imagine a world where a company like Apple, that claims it wants to be a source of positive change in the world, doesn’t simper and scrape before a political regime that is a constant tsunami of ideological sewage and needlessly induced misery.
Unfortunately, Apple’s revenue and stock price matter more to Tim Cook than Apple’s moral compass. Not saying that makes him a bad CEO, because obviously not, but it does make me think less of him as a person, and by association the company he leads.

Did you complain when Cook donated to the campaigns of Democrats? I've got news for you, he is going to donate to whoever is in charge or who he thinks will be in charge. And so will the next CEO.

Of all the thing “history is not going to reflect well on” this is near the bottom of the list. Near the top will be social media and how it’s destroying societies.
Him glazing Trump is a political act because he knows what Trump could do to his company.
