Not sure if any of the sites' US audience have seen it up close before. The offices are on the top couple storeys with the rest being a rather posh shopping centre. I took these shots whilst visiting last Christmas. Besides an ordinary-looking Apple Store on the ground floor you'd never know it was Apple's HQ. There is no external corporate livery or anything, just an unassuming elevator inside.

Remind me again why anyone cares about this "royal" family?
They represent a bloodline that goes back over 1000 years*. Its a living link to our shared history on both sides of the atlantic. They royal family costs the average taxpayer £1.29 per annum, hardly enough to buy a bar of chocolate. They bring in a net £2bn in tourism annually.

*Some Pedant will point out that the current dynasty started when William the Conquerer planted his flag after the Battle of Hastings in 1066, however the current house is simultaneously descended from Harold Godwinson who lost. His lineage goes back even further to the House of Wessex (865 or further)

He's head of the state for the UK, which is enough.

The bloodline bit doesn't interest me, though, at all, and I can't see any point in bloodline succession..I never really could understand why it matters what your DNA tracks back to, other for novelty and scientific reasons. It's diluted 50% every generation, anyway. After 1000 years (or ~40 generations), the genetic connection is miniscule... much, much less than 1% (9.09*10^-11%). End rant.

Yes it’s meaningless but you haven’t taken into account marrying cousins. 😂

What a sad world this has become after June 29, 2007. People attending events, and then not participating, instead looking at their smartphone.

For some reason you don’t think they are taking video or photographs, then checking them?

All families go back 1000s of years. Them bringing tourism still doesn't answer WHY people care to begin with? For me personally, they could disappear from the face of the planet and I'd never know or care where they went.

Being in the same job for a thousand years is pretty impressive.
