--Well, in fairness, this IS his Alma Mater so I can understand why he would speak at their event. But yeah... I did notice it was Schiller and Federighi. It's either China or special interests that get all the love now. I hate to sound like a bitter cow pointing that out so often. And I could be very wrong in my limited perspective of what his job entails. But I'm not a grumpy mom for nothing...gotta be a little sour sometimes or I'd have to change my username.

I see all this hate for him. He is in no risk of being let go; have you seen the stock prices? He reports to his investors, and they are making a lot of money. If you are on MR, you are not the typical consumer. Fan the fire here, but people are buying their products, even when a product line is significantly outdated.
Every time I see articles on this subject I go and grab a headache powder.

I fully believe he will be a full-time lobbyist after his career at Apple is over. He's spending a good chunk of his time lobbying already.

Tim Cook is nothing more than a hypocritical scumbag. So proud and vociferous to spout his sjw mantra that goes suddenly silent when he's sucking up to the Chinese or any country in the Middle East sans perhaps Israel
How about sitting down and talking to the pro users about your product pipeline.

Apple did not become this successful giant cause of "equality and diversity" , its cause they had a great CEO who had "vision"
Keep hiding behind "equality " "diversity" "security" "privacy" simple fact it's all a diversion from the fact you just care about $$$$ and are riding the products from Jobs era while penny pinching and ruining them slowly.

I was using "my" in the generic sense of "i like my stakes rare", or "i like my professors to look professorial" rather than to suggest ownership. Perhaps its a local dialect thing
Start paying your fair share of taxes in countries around the world, then you have the moral high ground to talk to me about fairness.
