Three comments already about watching porn. I think that tells us more about the commenters than about Tim Cook ;)
About 3 months ago I was with a business partner at a McDonald's and needed to use my AVP to compare several contracts at the same time. I noticed people would stare at me and some comment between themselves that I must be watching porn. I just ignored them completely and kept working on it and communicating with my partner about what I was working on.

I ignored them because I didn't considered them worth of any of my time and attention.

I’ll bet his neck and shoulder muscles have gotten massive since Vision Pro came out.

I think it's really cool. Do the demo if you haven't yet. You know I've had one for months and I haven't even thought about watching porn on it. I'm sure someone has filmed porn using it which I guess would be pretty interesting if you're into that. My boyfriend would not be interested in trying that out, oh well.. :p

The reason this month i will use only
Mountain Lion on a Macbook Pro and Mac Mini 2012 is

(drum roll please...)

Apple CEO Tim Cook Uses Vision Pro Every Day

Man, that sounds kinda.... "sad" šŸ˜ž

No room for even a desk ....But they are going to buy a $3500 headset for a monitor?
I'm talking about after they get the price down to something reasonable but yes. Millennials and gen-z be in studio apartments and not saving, just spending, because there's no hope to buy a home. And they WFH. I'm describing like the entire city of SF hahaha. ALSO: they're be making monthly payments for big purchases. $99/month sounds like a way more justifiable purchase than $1200.

Not to mention aftermarket sales/hand me downs when new versions of VP come out (assuming they don't drop all development and kill it soon).

But ya I agree, by definition, headsets are "sad" technology. But people are still buying. The chart still goes šŸ“ˆ.

The "100 foot screen" thing is overhyped. If you put any screen close enough tot your fact it's going to look huge.
Talking without any facts?
It's not the same thing. Your focal point changes and causes you eyestrain if you do what you recommend.
On the AVP you get the perceived 100 foot screen from a perceived comfortable distance, and you don't get eye strain.
You'll get a different visual experience between placing a windows close to your face than at a distance with a comparable larger size.

Still waiting for that ā€˜killer’ app. Think I may be waiting another couple of years at least. Curious to see what developers create.

I suppose it must be nice to have a 100-foot ceiling?

Perhaps Tim Cook will opt to turn on the awareness-raising Screen Width feature. Seems like it will be good for teenagers who are so susceptible to chronic widening of their screens, and all that.

(I'm listening, and it seems like they're using both the terms "100-foot" and "100-inch." This seems… a bit of a distinction, especially since they're featuring the metric in the subtitle.)

You know, that there are already 3D-versions of these "like on the Discovery Channel"-Videos...

Back to topic...
I do have an appointment at Apple on Saturday, I might show them my credit card afterwards...

They know, what they do at the marketing department at Apple, but I am a bit irritated about that interview with Tim right now, just one day before launch in many countries. They would not have done it, if it would sell like crazy.

It's enough of a verdict that the original Myst was made for the Mac and the original Riven was featured onstage at an Apple Keynote, but the anticipated-for-years remake of Riven has launched on Quest and to this point doesn't even seem to have targeted Vision Pro. That would have been the app.

HAHAHA, so what, we dont gonna buy it mr Cook, even if you use it in the WC, drop its price, that is a good one,

I haven’t used mine in a month. And after seeing what vision OS 2 will have I’m even more underwhelmed. This is a product I’ve spent a lot on and hardly use. Definitely regret buying them. Might sell one and keep the other as a maybe down the road.

Have you done the demo at an Apple Store? My experience was basically what Tim said. It is awe inspiring. People will buy this when the price comes down.
How long did you wear this 600g headset? After a while you will begin to feel the weight and it doesnā€˜t feel ā€žaweā€œ after 30 minutes, believe me.

Since the VP is TC’s iPhone wanna-be, what does anyone expect him to say?

ā€œIt’s very uncomfortable and tiring to wear. Mine is sitting in a drawer, but maybe someday I’ll try it again if I’m really really boredā€.?
"...what does anyone expect him to say?"

Certainly not a disinterested, unbiased and honest review.
We're not fools.
Are we?
