Apple changed imac harddrive

Apple just changed a brand new imac for me, it is a week 50 one so it has the leopard picture on the box. I found out that apple changed the hard drive brand from western digital to hitachi(320GB). Don't know why?

This sort of thing happens all the time. The main reason is probably cost. The Hitachis probably cost Apple less than the WDs.

Thats good. I've never liked WD drives.
