Shame, it's my closest store and way more convenient then going into Reading.

The Oracle was looking a bit sad with the amount of empty units the last time I was there, but the Apple Store is always busy so hopefully moving to one of the bigger units (perhaps the old Topshop site) can reinvigorate it a bit!

Can’t be that bad as they were bragging about how they pushed up occupancy from 93% to 97% last year:

“The Oracle has seen the repurposing recently of the former House of Fraser to new offers from TK Maxx and Hollywood Bowl. There have also been additional leasing deals including flagship store upsizes with Zara and Apple”

I call it Basinbred. Haven't been there for 25 years so maybe the gene pool there has diversified since the early 2000's

A tip from a UK Apple Regent Street specialist revealed that the SouthGate location he used to work at has been undergoing renovations since last month and has been closed ever since. https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/southgate/
