It's big, of course, but not as big as when it was first announced. This is an upgrade of an existing product. The milestone has been reached already. The next iphone is big but something like the release of say, a tablet mac would be bigger. That would be a whole new direction for Apple.

Actually, I think that's the cause of the current shortage. They were anticipating an earthquake and stopped production months ago.
