Mine departed DFW and I'm not sure where it has to go to be loaded on the truck for delivery to Ardmore. At least it's on its way! A few days ago I was thinking of picking it up at my local UPS CC but then found out the hours are 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. So I'll be waiting for the UPS driver to come to my door tomorrow...

Relax. It'll be there tomorrow.

Actually, I just talked (chat) with Apple - this is what they said:

"I am looking at your account we are waitng for your carrier to finalize your order. As soon as they give us the all clear we will send your iPhone 6s out to you."

Not sure why my carrier (Sprint) would finalize the two others I purchased for other lines on my account but not the one for mine.

I will at least enjoy my family getting their new phones tomorrow!

Hmm, now I'm getting a bit nervous seeing all of these other posters in Southern California with their phones already in the state.

I had 9/25 delivery, so I guess I shouldn't fret? Still confused as to why it would go to Illinois after Kentucky instead of here to California.

Mine is still in Harrisburg too.

It is probably sitting in your local UPS Hub. Mine has said Harrisburg since the 22nd and still does. I called UPS this morning to ask about why my tracking had an Exception on it and to make sure I could pick it up as requested at the Hub tomorrow. I was told my phone had been in Pittsburgh since the 22nd and the Exception was on it because they can't deliver it until the 25th. I did have to make another request to pick it up at the Hub instead of having it delivered.

Hate to say this, but Illinois sounds bad. No way to put that one on a truck and get it there in time. Wonder if it was a sorting error.

When did it hit Illinois?

Don't worry. I looked it up and it's around a 6 hour flight to get to California. Still have plenty of time!
They'd have to have a spare plane (or hire third party) to make a special trip. UPS doesn't fly between Illinois and California (without going through Louisville). If they were going to do that, why not just send the spare plane or third party straight to California?

Mine has landed in Phoenix, AZ (3:14 pm PT) and will travel a little east later to night to the Mesa Hub (normally around 5 am PT) and be there waiting for pick up in the morning.

Happy iPhone 6S Plus Day!
