Still waiting on mine.. OFD since 5.06AM.. Frisco TX.
Anyone in the area got theirs?
WTF! My wife's phone is supposed to be delivered today and a few minutes ago UPS updated it to be delivered on Monday 9/28 instead. very mad now.
It should have been ready at 9am. UPS guy was nice and said he'd call me to let me know when it gets sorted and in the HOLD bin. I got a call 15 min ago, so there you go. He said it's been nuts and he almost took the day off to not be annoyed. What time was your available for pick up? I am having the same troubles...
Since most games are different iPad to iPhone, they likely wouldn't restore. I'd recommend setting up as new just so you get all of the explanations for how to use features.Quick question for everyone!
This is my first iPhone, although I do have an iPad Air 2. Is it possible/Should I restore it from the iPad backup, or just use it as a fresh device? About the only thing I can think of that I'd want to sync that isn't the usual contacts/calendars/e-mail is my progress/saves in some games, which all back up via iCloud from their game interfaces. I suppose I could download the games fresh onto the phone and restore the save files from the games directly, correct? I don't mind re-downloading apps and such
I like setting up new phones as new phones. I import pictures and contacts with my iCloud account but manually download music, apps etc. That why any issues I had with my 6+ won't move over to the new phone but that's me.Quick question for everyone!

I'm gonna have whiplash by the end of the day from my head continually snapping up every time I see movement out the front window (I'm working from home and my desk faces it). OMG.
I just got an AT&T version in the store, no activation fee, comes unlocked. Right now there's no sign of the brown truck, it usually comes around 1230.Let me know when you receive your phone. I think we live in the same neighborhood so we can "track" each other!
UPS just called and said it's ready for pickup. I really feel for those guys as the UPS guy said folks slept there. nuts....
Can't restore from the iPad back up. Should activate as a new phone.Quick question for everyone!

Mine is saying out for delivery, so I think I'm ok. Right? For those in NY, the UPS guy just left here and said a lot are postponing up to the end of next week. I hope that's not the case. Got mine and will see ya next year same time
Quick question for everyone!
