WTF! My wife's phone is supposed to be delivered today and a few minutes ago UPS updated it to be delivered on Monday 9/28 instead. very mad now.

Same thing happened to me! I have two phones that were ordered at the same time. One is out for delivery today as scheduled. The other was changed to a Monday 9/28 delivery! I contacted UPS chat and was told that they should both be on the truck for delivery today, but who knows if that is accurate information. Chat support could have just been blowing smoke up my bum to get rid of me. I'm going to try and get someone on the phone at UPS. The chat support person did say that I could still possibly pick up the package at the facility if i make the request before 7pm. UPS gets to me around 5 or 6, so i guess i have to wait until then to see if both phones are delivered.

Quick question for everyone!

This is my first iPhone, although I do have an iPad Air 2. Is it possible/Should I restore it from the iPad backup, or just use it as a fresh device? About the only thing I can think of that I'd want to sync that isn't the usual contacts/calendars/e-mail is my progress/saves in some games, which all back up via iCloud from their game interfaces. I suppose I could download the games fresh onto the phone and restore the save files from the games directly, correct? I don't mind re-downloading apps and such

What time was your available for pick up? I am having the same troubles...
It should have been ready at 9am. UPS guy was nice and said he'd call me to let me know when it gets sorted and in the HOLD bin. I got a call 15 min ago, so there you go. He said it's been nuts and he almost took the day off to not be annoyed.

Since most games are different iPad to iPhone, they likely wouldn't restore. I'd recommend setting up as new just so you get all of the explanations for how to use features.

I like setting up new phones as new phones. I import pictures and contacts with my iCloud account but manually download music, apps etc. That why any issues I had with my 6+ won't move over to the new phone but that's me.

I did a restore from iCloud Backup, it seriously took 10 minutes! It normally takes hours for it to download and install all the applications... wow this thing is stupid fast!

It's heeeeere!!!! :D

Can't restore from the iPad back up. Should activate as a new phone.

Use it as a fresh device.
