So I spoke with a specialist and I was told that tomorrow or tuesday anybody who is still processing will have moved to PFS or shipped. So some relief for us stuck in processing.

Anybody think I should contact Apple about my order?
I am still processing and it's weird because I got my confirmation before a lot of the people here who are already shipped.
Was your card charged? If so I would worry and it should go to 'preparing for shipping' soon. If not then a call would hurt.
 
Let's do it! It would be awesome if they let us pick up the phones once they get to the hub.

According to my tracking by reference both of my phones are in the UPS system and preparing to leave China. So I would wait a while before you headed to you local hub. They will get there a day early and be ready to get on the truck the night of the 24th.
 
You don't need to call Apple. It will change soon. Apple won't be able to tell you anymore than what the site says right now. Plus you are just tying up a rep who could be helping people with real issues.
A call wouldn't hurt especially if there is an issue with his credit card. Better safe than sorry.
 
I've done it all...camped out, ordered through Apple.com, carrier and Best Buy online. This year I actually did three. Apple, carrier and reservation for pickup. Cancelled my shipping orders and picking it up. realizing how lucky I am to live close and skip on the crazy shipping anxiety.

Honestly thought I ordered right when preorders opened and I still don't have a tracking number. Some people on this thread are loosing their minds because they don't have a tracking number yet.
 
crossing my fingers for tracking today. I've been PFS for a day now. I keep checking the reference tab on ups and nothing comes up.
 
My order is still processing, but I have a new pending charge for AppleCare+, plus the taxes on my 128GB 6S+, after the original temp hold fell off yesterday. Hopefully that means they are preparing to prepare to ship lol
 
There's always something every pre-order... Apple authorized my card last week for the full amount, but they don't actually capture that authorization (charge the card) until it ships. Well of course I get a call from my credit card company today that my card was used fraudulently in various cities around the world and they need to cancel it (nothing to do with my Apple order). Card rep thinks since that card number is now cancelled that Apple won't be able to capture the authorization. I called Apple and they think they will be able to, but since it's PFS status they can't make any changes to use a new card anyway. So... now I just have to wait and see who is correct. And if it does get declined when they try to capture it, there goes my pre-order. Le sigh. :(
