Canceled my first order last night and placed a new order for a 16GB Silver 6S. It's now processing. I know people were saying not to do that, but there was literally NO movement on my first order.

-- It was processing
-- No tracking on UPS
-- Nothing in support profile
-- No charge

My new order is already in the same boat! I hope i get it Friday...
LOL seriously? I think you freaked a little. My iPhone 6s Plus 128GB SG just went PFS an hour ago. You seriously jumped the gun dude.

It seems that many of those going to the SE US that are already stateside are in Mt. Juliet, TN. I'm in Virginia and mine is coming from Harrisburg.

Mine are coming from Harrisburg also, which is weird because I'm in Seattle and usually get shipments from Rialto, CA. I'm wondering it it's luck of the draw, or if they've stocked different warehouses with different models.

So, I ordered my phone literally right after they went on sale. Ordered Contract free iPhone 6S Plus. My card was finally charged yesterday. But still, my phone is not in my support profile and there is nothing showing up under my reference on UPS.com. Anyone else wanna shed some light on the situation? My apple.com order status is Preparing for Shipment, delivers 09/25 by "Standard Shipping."

You have nothing to worry about. If Apple says you'll get it 9/25, you'll get it 9/25.

Same here. Mine is also not in my support profile, but my card has been charged and my order status is preparing for shipment.

The "Standard Shipping" portion is normal. PFS is already a good thing. Nothing has shown up in my support page either (doesn't matter to me anyway), and my tracking number hasn't show up either. Knowing how my other order cleared for China, it took about a few hours (2-3 hours) to pop up. A shipping label should be generated no later than tomorrow. From there, it should be an easy 3 day ship.

Lol, I laughed at this.

Mine is in UPS as label generated, my phone 6s plus 128gb Silver is coming from Mount Juliet Tenn.

For those who are still not seeing shipping info, the phones that are in the US are shipping next day air saver, so Apple still has plenty of time to get a phone labelled for you. DON'T WORRY!
This is only my second rodeo, my first one was in April with the Apple Watch. Sorry, this is the first year I've been financially stable enough to do this. :)

I looked at last years iPhone 6 and this is the trend, it will leave for Korea on the 22nd and stay there for one day then on to Alaska then Louisville then your destination. I don't get it though.
All those phones coming from China gotta get stored somewhere. Maybe the longer they sit at UPS, the more it costs, and the possibility of thefts increase?

Guess that means mine was born today....

You guys have to remember, Apple is dealing with significantly more than 10 million orders across 48 variations (2 antenna types, 2 sizes, 4 colors, 3 memory sizes) of iPhones that need to be delivered across the entire country. That's not even counting carrier specific versions like Sprint and T-Mobile that locks their phones. The logistics are amazing and the thing you need to focus on is that they've had a track record of keeping to promised pre-order delivery dates.

tl;dr - stay calm and wait till friday

Mine last scanned in HOng Kong, how did you find out the flights?

You can't. No matter what people say about flightaware - no one knows what's on those flights. UPS flights could have UPS, FedEx, DHL, postal mail etc. FedEx flights could have FedEx, UPS, DHL, postal mail etc. Apple also charters entire flights from other companies.

Don't worry about it. If apple gave you a commitment of the 25th, just relax and shop for a new case.

I'd like to be tracking a plane but mine is sitting in Mount Juliet TN just one state over. Origin scan is from there.

That's good. The phone shipped by direct distribution and shipped to the carrier hub. Then your individual package with others were broken out from the pallet, sorted, scanned and will truck to the local service center in your area. You're good to go.

I would love too! But the phone has been in Hong Kong for the past 16 hours or so and I don't see any flights leaving Hong Kong any time soon...

Mine is waiting in HK as well. UPS do not seem to have pre-flight schedule.
After some digging, one UPS flight is coming to HK now, http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS58

after it arrive HK, it is likely be turned into UPS63 or UPS59 to US
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS63
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS59

Just speculation

Changed mine from drop off to pick up at ups store.
Now my order on ups my choice has a big exclamation mark with "! Exception"

Yea probably messed that up lol.

Googled it and says it may still possibly come at scheduled delivery date. But maybe not.

Yay!

People who did that last year got Monday, that why a Hub or wait at home. Hopefully yours works out better, gets delivered that day sometime and you can pick it up.

That's where mine was last year, headed for central Florida. This year, it started out in Shenzhen. I'm kind of happy it did--I really missed being able to obsessively check Flight Aware, UPS, etc., last time around. ;)
