Has anybody recent purchased an iPhone 6s, prefablyn128 GB from Apple's website that came preloaded with iOS 9? I am wondering if they have any stock left?

No, it will come pre loaded with iOS 10. Maybe if u buy it in a retail store it will probably come with iOS 9.(if the stores have some IPhone 6s with iOS 9)

I rather be the one to update the phone myself anyways. I didn't order off of Apple's site nor get the 128gb but got the 32gb and it came with ios 9. Did the update myself etc and off I went. Got mine about two weeks ago.

Thanks for the replies. I am thinking Apple is still trying to sell older iPhone 6S stock, as the demand isn't high anymore. I ordered one. Hopefully it comes with the last version of iOS 9.

I highly doubt it. It's late November and iOS 9 hasn't been pre-installed on new phones since September. You're underestimating the demand of the iPhone 6s. It will likely come with the most recent version of iOS. (10.1.1) Or at least iOS 10.

Your best bet is finding a run down shop in the middle of nowhere and buying the 6s. They won't move much stock.

Agreed. Now that Apple upgraded the 6s to 32 GB, they all ship with iOS 10. Third party stores may still have available, older 6s models with iOS 9 intact.

Did you get it? If you did I'm curious, for future reference which version was it on?
